Empty Products #4
Wednesday, December 10, 2014This post is long overdue...I'm sorry I have been neglecting my blog a bit! (and only posting the weekly songs) I hope to give my blog some much needed love over the Christmas period as I will be off work! In the meantime, here are some more empty products for you!
Mac Mineralize Foundation Loose in Light - I am loving Mac products for foundation at the moment. I actually stopped using this one for a while as I thought it smelt funny, but then I got over it! The colour matches my skin well, but I can't put a heavy amount on as I then look orange. It doesn't dry out the skin on my nose so much either.
Will I buy it again? Already done so! I will be picking up another after my birthday on Friday when I have a bit more money to my name. Also, is it true if you keep hold of so-many empty Mac products and then give them in to the store they will replace them with a brand new product?
George Blush in No. 1 Rosy - I only bought this as I wanted to try out a blusher but didn't want to spend a silly amount on one to find I didn't like using them, so just cost me about £3 I think. I ended up really liking it as you can see, I feel the light pink tones compliment my pale skin colour.
Will I buy it again? I haven't bought it since as I have moved onto a Rimmel one, but I know where to go if I get into a fix and find I have no blusher!
Beauty UK Eye Prime FX - I bought this from my local discount make-up shop as I was desperate for an eyeshadow primer. I was a bit weary as I know the brand is cheap and the products can reflect this but this is definitely one of their best products! My eyeshadow stays on all day with this underneath and it doesn't crease either (which was my main problem).
Will I buy it again? Already done so. I have a different primer to use next but I will compare the two and and decide then.
L'Oreal Everpure Conditioner - I always change up my conditioners so I thought I would try this new one by L'Oreal as it was on an introductory offer in Tesco. It was ok....yes my hair felt quite smooth but what has put me off it that it looks, smells and feels like toothpaste! I don't particularly like the smell of mint and I just constantly felt like I was using toothpaste on my head!
Will I buy it again? I strongly doubt it, the whole 'toothpaste' thing has put me off, but if you like a minty smell then this might be for you!
