It's been a really busy week planning things for the engagement party: the invites are being sent out, I am delegating jobs to people....but thankfully most of the stuff is being done by the venue! In terms of decorations I only need to sort out the table centrepieces, but for that I need about 30 different sized jars! Hopefully you can see in the coming weeks what my idea is...

This week the venue will have had a full deposit, and I am hoping the food will all be confirmed. I just need to sort out some food for one person as they are vegetarian, so I am hoping the venue will be able to accomodate them - otherwise I'm going to have to sneak some food in!

Things will probably calm down for party planning over the next few weeks now that the invites are made and being sent out, which means I can do a bit more planning for my student showcase the week after the party (and research on Pinterest!)
