Author: Arthur Conan-Doyle
Genre: Classic/Mystery/Thriller
Length: 176 pages
Rating: 4 stars
"The Hound of the Baskervilles is the tale of an ancient curse suddenly given a terrifying modern application. The grey towers of Baskerville Hall and the wild open country of Dartmoor hold many secrets for Holmes and Watson to unravel. The detective is contemptuous of supernatural manifestations, but the reader will remain perpetually haunted by the hound from the moor."
I'm slowly making my way through all of the Sherlock Holmes books and each time I enjoy reading it! 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' is probably the most famous of the series, so I was looking forward to reading this. The story kept you gripped at times however now that I have read a couple of the books now I am starting to predict what is happening and how Sherlock thinks.
I would definitely recommend reading this book although I still don't have a favourite Sherlock Holmes book, I would say from my personal viewpoint they are all on the same level with each other.
