Most Sung Songs of 2014! #1-3

Here is is the final 3 songs for the most sung songs of 2014! I hope you have liked this little countdown, let me know what you think in the comments below!
#3 - Eternal Flame - The Bangles
As with most of the other songs that have featured on this countdown, this has been a very popular song choice for the Grade 1 exam. In 2015 I'm not expecting this to be sang to much as it is on the old syllabus which is being phased out. This was sung 18 times since August.
#2 - The One That Got Away - Katy Perry
Another Grade 1 song, I honestly thought this would be number 1! I do enjoy teaching this song and I expect it will still be as popular over the next year. This was sung 27 times since August.
#1 - Walking On Sunshine - Katrina & The Waves
Here is the number 1 song of the year! This has been hugely popular with the Grade 1 exam and will probably continue to be as it features in the new syllabus book rather than as a free choice piece. As most of my Grade 1's are children I was surprised that they would choose this song as it is before their time (in fact before my time!) but obviously I was wrong. I think this song will get sung more in the summer too. This was sung a massive 37 times since August!
