Making Goody Bags!
Monday, February 09, 2015As I posted last week, I held an open evening for my business! As part of this, I made some goody bags for people to take away. I have posted some pictures showing the steps on how I made them, if you have any questions about them please comment below!
To start with, I ordered some circular stickers with my logo on from Vistaprint, ready to be stuck onto the goody bags. I also bought some purple bags from Ebay and orange card from WHSmith, as purple and orange are my business colours.
I started off by using a vase and a pencil to draw some circles on the orange card.
I then stuck the orange card/sticker to the middle of the purple goody bag - the glue pen made me feel like a kid again! The only problem I had with the glue though was that it started to leak after a bit, so I ended up just having to throw it in the bin when I was finished using it. I left these out to dry for approximately 24 hours, they all had to be weighed down too as the card kept curling up if I didn't.
And so all that was left to do was put each item into every bag! They included;
- A bottle of water - as water is the best thing for your voice!
- A mini recorder
- A pencil/piece of stationery, as kindly donated by my local music store
- A notebook - I ordered the exercise books from Ebay for about 10p each, I just then printed off my logo onto a sticker and put this on the front. I have so many extras of these so I can offer them to my current students too
- Business cards for myself and other businesses I am connected to
- A 20% off voucher for a music lesson
Finally the bags were ready to go! They were a bit of a nightmare transporting them as I didn't have enough boxes so some had to go individually.
I hope you have enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making the goody bags, if you like this post then please follow me on BlogLovin here, or let me know in a comment below!
