It's that time of the month again...it's some more of my empties! I've had to put a few more in this month as my box was getting quite full (especially with lots of shampoo and conditioner bottles)!

Avon Bubble Bath in Spring Garden - First up is one of the products I featured in a video when I did a massive haul on beauty products - you can watch that here. It's cheap, smells nice and bubble-wise, you gets lots of bubbles! I do love my baths and I can't have one without some bubbles. Out of the other scents though this is probably the one I least like, but it's still nice!

Will I buy it again? Hopefully the offer will still be on in Avon when I need to get some more bubble bath, and even if it isn't I will probably still order some, I might try out some other scents though.

Leo Bancroft Beautifully Radiant Colour Care Conditioner - Lets get all of the bath/shower products out of the way first! I only bought this because it was cheap in Tesco, and the Leo Bancroft range is usually on offer. It was ok, it made my hair smoother which was the main thing.

Will I buy it again? Unsure on this one, there are most likely better conditioners out there.

Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant - I always buy Dove deodorants as I find them very soothing on my armpits, especially if I have just shaved. I've been using this particular type of deodorant for a few years now and the only problem I ever have is when I start using a new bottle, loads of white powder comes out and makes my clothes unwearable for the day!

Will I buy it again? I probably will, yes,

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter - I got this a few years ago in a set for Christmas, and because I've never really used body butters or creams until now it's just been sat in a drawer! I love the smell of this one and just The Body Shop body butters in general, they always feel really nice on my skin.

Will I buy it again? I've got a stack of body butters waiting to be used so when I run out, I probably will!

Benefit "Hello Flawless" Powder in Ivory - This must have been sitting in my drawer for a LONG time as I haven't used it in about a year! I found it ok but I have moved over to MAC loose powders now. I do love the little sponges you get in these ones though...

Will I buy it again? It's a possibility, it just depends on when I get bored of the MAC loose powder!

Avon SuperShock Mascara - I can't actually remember buying this so I must have had it as a present from somewhere! I didn't really like this one too much - I just don't get on with Avon make-up for some reason but I thought I would give it a chance. I didn't like the brush and I didn't feel it lengthened my eyelashes, it was barely anything compared to my 'holy grail' Falsifeye mascara (which I featured in my last monthly favourites here).

Will I buy it again? No, I know where much better mascaras are.

This isn't something I would usually read even though I love my young-adult fiction. It's set in the future, sort of post-apocalyptic, and is about a girl called Anya, but I found it really entertaining! I'm looking forward to getting the sequels.

1. Hayley Williams/Paramore - Ok lets just get the obvious one out of the way. Since discovering Paramore way back in 2007 I have fallen in love with the band, seen them live 5 times now and Hayley Williams herself is a massive inspiration to me both musically and personally.
   
2. My School Music Teacher - She made me believe I could do anything with my music and not give up!
   
3. My boyfriend - as cheesy as it sounds, yes he has influenced me (in a good way!) He will hate me for saying this but he has made me the person I am today (and I would hope that is a good thing!)
   
4. My family - I'm classing my family as one person as they all influence me in all their different ways. They have taught me how to respect people and grow up with values.

1. Music - Music is my first passion and has been for my whole life. I have been learning music since I was 5 years old; I have played the recorder, violin, bass guitar, keyboard, piano and vocals. I listen to all styles of music and I love my job as a vocal coach, passing on my knowledge to other people. Music is something that will always stay with me.
   
   
2. Family - Through thick and thin, my family have always been the ones behind my back, helping me keep my head up high. If anything ever happened to my family I would be there for them in whatever way I can. I love them all so much.
   
   
3. The Future - I have always had two expectations in my life, and they are to get married and have kids. (One day, not yet!) They are both such an extreme passion of mine as I have always had it in my head that it WILL happen, I have to do all I can to not look at wedding dresses and baby clothes when I'm not even engaged or pregnant!
   
   
4. Reading - I find it so important to read; I really enjoy it and I love to immerse myself in another world. I started reading before I began school, it is just one thing that has stuck with me since I was little and as a result I believe my life is better for it :)
   
   
5. Make-up - How can I not add in make-up? I've been wearing it since I was 15 and although I got a bit of stick for it at first (school bullies eh?) I didn't let them stop me! A little bit of eyeliner turned into adding some tinted moisturiser which turned into crazy shades of eyeshadow! I can't be without my bright eyeshadows now and I have to be very tame when it comes to teaching! I love playing about with different bits of make-up and I think I always will.

The last time I wrote about my M.E, I had suspected appendicitis. This calmed down after my hospital visit, but I was still getting abdominal pains that couldn't be explained. I was referred to a gynaecologist who suggested I may have endometriosis and sent me off for a laporoscopy (in other words, keyhole surgery).

It was the 24th May 2011 when I had my exploratory laporoscopy, which proved that I was not suffering from endometriosis...in fact, there was absolutely nothing there. All of my organs were healthy, there was no tissue outside of my uterus and the only problem my surgeon could find was that I had extreme muscle tension but could not find a reason for it. So I was still at square one.
I had just finished university when I had the operation, so I could spend the summer recuperating ready for the next academic year. Things were also looking up - I had managed to get another job at a clothes store who understood what problems I was having (and to be fair, they were amazing about understanding my health issues for the whole 2 1/2 years I was there).

It's October now so that means only one thing...it's my September Favourites!


First up is Lush's Popcorn Lip Scrub. My lips can get quite dry and flaky so I use this everytime I'm in the bath. I could just eat this stuff though! (and it is edible so it's hard not to) It's affordable and sorts my lips out everytime I use it.

Second is 17's Falsifeye False Lash Effect Mascara - this is pretty much my holy grail mascara now I love it that much! It isn't clumpy and has a nice texture to it, it doesn't budge all day. It is more on the pricer side of the range but I think it is worth every little bit of money. I've been using this for nearly a year now and I haven't found a mascara that comes close yet.

I have been pining over the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume for a few months and I was so excited when I found out my grandparents had bought it me as a holiday present! I'm going to use it as a 'going-out' scent and so far used it for my anniversary meal with my boyfriend. The bottle is so cute as well so I will keep that even when I finish the bottle!


Last month I featured a NimbleBit game in my monthly favourites, and once again another one of their games is here! (you've gotta love the little Bits). This month I've been obsessing over Tiny Tower Vegas, so far my log-in bonus is at 30 days! It's very similar to the original 'Tiny Tower', but you are building up your own casino instead!

As always I like to add a song into my monthly favourites, and this month it is 'The Closest Thing To Crazy' by Katie Melua. If you have been following my 'Songs Sung In This Weeks Lessons' posts, you will see this song is now a regular fixture as it is one of the new Grade 4 songs! It is always in my head and it is a great tune for when you just want to chill out.
